William shakespeare's dad had a number of jobs.  like tasting beer and as a glove maker. His family lived above a glove shop.He was also paid for tasting beer in a liquor factory.

Shakespeare couldn't spell his name correctly. He wrote in a number of different ways, including: Willm Shakp, William Shaksper, Wm Shakspe,

William was a savvy businessman. He co-owned his theatre company, the Lord Chamberlain’s Men, and the Globe, an outside theatre built in London in 1599.

In November 1582, 18-year-old  Shakespeare married an older woman Anne Hathaway, a farmer’s daughter eight years his senior who was three months pregnant at the time.

Shakespeare’s parents were probably illiterate. His wife and their two children Susanna and Judith, are thought to have been illiterate.

Nobody knows what Shakespeare did between 1585 and 1592.

Some people think Shakespeare was a fraud.   some theorists have suggested that one or several authors wishing to conceal their true identity used the person of William Shakespeare as a front.

He Had a Kid Named Hamnet. Shakespeare’s only son was named Hamnet.
